Pilot an armed speedboat across a sun-drenched festival waterway, outgun your rivals with eight unique weapons, and be the last one floating.
A festival is raging on the shore.
You're the one on the water.
Hydroverse is a naval combat game set on a sun-drenched festival waterway. Players pilot armed speedboats across open water, battling rivals with eight distinct weapons — from homing missiles and flamethrowers to freeze rounds that lock enemies in place and ricochet shots that bounce off obstacles for bonus damage. Choose Free-For-All or Team Deathmatch, dial in your difficulty, and fight for score dominance before the clock runs out.

Spray freely — but fire too long and it overheats, leaving you defenceless for a few critical seconds.
Self-guided rounds that chase the nearest enemy. Fire in rapid succession for maximum effect.
Balanced tracking and solid damage. The all-rounder — great for aggressive players who like options.
Devastating damage in a single hit — but no tracking. Aim carefully. This one rewards patience.
Drop a fuel drum in the water. It detonates on contact with massive area damage — or just float it as a trap.
Shots that bounce off obstacles and deal bonus damage with every ricochet. Angles matter.
Ten untracked rockets in rapid succession. No guidance — pure suppression. Best in tight corridors.
Locks an opponent completely in place for four seconds. Zero damage — pure control. Set up your allies for the kill.

The battle takes place on a sun-drenched festival waterway ringed by palm trees, wooden docks, and food trucks. A thumping beach soundstage blazes with colour. The crowd watches from the shore. The music never stops.
The ocean isn't a flat texture — it's a custom animated shader with cel-shading, real-time ripples that fan out from every boat, caustic light patterns, and sparkle highlights that catch the sun.
A procedural skybox with layered cloud formations — thick cumulus, mid stratus, and wispy cirrus — all lit by a diffused sun pushing through the overcast, casting warm golden light across the water.
Three modes. Infinite replayability. Choose your fight and dial the difficulty from relaxed to ruthless.
No allies, no mercy. Six AI opponents are hunting you at all times. Rack up eliminations and reach the score limit before the clock runs out.
You're part of a team now. AI teammates fight alongside you. Coordinate, protect flanks, use Freeze to set up kills — strategy wins here, not just firepower.
No respawns. No score limit. The match ends the moment only one boat is left on the water — and it had better be yours. Every decision is permanent.
"The freeze weapon into a Power Shot combo is absolutely broken and I am never not doing it."
"Loaded this up at a house party and four of us were crowding around the screen within minutes. The festival vibe is immaculate."
"Tried it in VR on my Quest 3 and genuinely felt seasick (in the best way). The water shader is doing something special."
Yes — completely free, no account required. Open the game in your browser and you're in the match in seconds. No hidden fees, no premium tiers, no paywalled content.
Just a modern browser — Chrome, Edge or Firefox all work great. No downloads, no plugins, no sign-up. A keyboard and mouse is all you need to get started.
Use W / S to accelerate and brake, A / D to steer. Hold Shift to boost. Click or press Space to fire your active weapon. Cycle through your arsenal with Q and E.
Free For All — every boat for itself. Rack up eliminations and hit the score limit first. Team Deathmatch — Red fleet vs Blue fleet, with AI teammates fighting alongside you. Last Boat Standing — no respawns, one life, the last boat on the water wins.
Start with the Machine Gun — unlimited ammo means no resource pressure while you learn the arena. Once you're comfortable, try the Homing Missile: it tracks targets automatically so you can focus on positioning rather than aim.
VR mode is currently in development — it's not available yet but it's coming soon. We're building full cockpit immersion for Meta Quest, Pico 4, Valve Index and more. Stay tuned for the release announcement.
Multiplayer is on the roadmap and actively in development. Right now you battle against smart AI opponents across all three modes. We'll be rolling out real-time multiplayer — so keep an eye out.
On the pre-match screen, choose Easy, Normal or Hard. Easy gives AI opponents short detection range and slow speed — great for learning. Hard gives them near-perfect aim, high speed, and long detection range. No mercy.
Jump in right now — no sign-up, no download, no catch. Just open the game and you're in the match in seconds. Free forever.
